SOUTHERN CONVOY TO FIA GT3 SERIES DAY (THURSDAY)

Right then Chaps, there seems to be a smidgeon of confusion surrounding the trip into Thursdays (15th March) FIA GT3 Series Press Day that we have been invited too.
Who was/is going to meet us at Lamborghini Wycombe ?
As if no one is meeting us there, then we may as well head straight out from the Aylesbury area where a few of us are staying the previous night - rather than battle the Wycombe rush hour traffic.
Currently the plan is to meet at The Holiday Inn (Aylesbury) car park at 7.45am then drive to Lambo Wycombe for about 8.30am then leave there around 9.30am and head down the M40 to Silverstone (where we are meeting the Northern contingent at WRC Technologies)

Spoke to my partner in crime Mandeep:Lambofool and he's not up for going up the night before, he wants to go early early
He made the valid point that to beat the rush hour traffic we'd have to set off after 19:30 so we'd get there at 9-ish so little to be gained. He's also an internetholic and they didn't have broadband so he couldn't breathe
That and his incredibly weak ability to say no to drinking all night lol
Because I live at Sevenoaks/Chelsfield J4 of the M25 is it best to meet at WRC up the M40?
Could somebody post the postcodes of the various meet points, so I can work it out ?

No worries Jonny, Carl isnt due in the Aylesbury area till 9pm either - so like you say, not much of a night out (although we would probably of ended up at St James' lappy bar in town until 3am .... which isnt conducive to driving supercars across Bucks the following day!)

I thought the idea of rolling down the M40 in a Lambo convoy would appeal to most, so I think its best we still rock up at LHW for around 8.30-9.30am. LHW is just off the M40 anyway, so not a detour for anyone coming across from the London area.

Why dont we miss out Lambo HW, meet at The hotel in the morning for 8am, make our way together to WRC and the pschycos can wash their cars whilst the rest of us get breakfast!!!
Johnny, just drive down trough the blackwall tunnel and ill catch up with you on the A12, be quicker than your crazy route past heathrow on M25
PS,Also Chelsea V Man City on Wednesday on Sky, so im def leaving in da morning!!

I know some rather pleasant roads on the back way into Silverstone, so we should have a bit of fun too.
No one else seems to be replying/inputting into this thread, as to when / where they wanted to meet up, so maybe we just all make our own way there and not go to LHW?

What's the hotel Postcode ?
I'm defo up for a night out with some good lappy action at some point , just as you say - wouldn't want to spoil the racing day ........
Also defo up for the convoy. To me that's 90% of the fun !!!!!!
