Between the bonnet and windscreen when the engine is warm the paint there becomes very bubbly, and i was wondering is it like that on all Tuscan's, and are there any good solutions to this problem that people have carried out? thanks

I think that you'll find that it is due to the heat given off by the cats, it is common on the plastic 'scuttle' panel that attaches to the bottom screen trim and also sometimes is evident on the main bonnet itself. The main bonnet can be repaired and then heat insulated on the underside to delay this re-occurring.The scuttle panel is more difficult due to it being a vacuum formed plastic panel. Hope this helps, Tony

Dispair!!! - Just this week a bubble appeared on my bonnet directly above the exhaust manifold. How is the repair carried out?

My advice is get it done pronto before it gets worse. The previous owner of my car left it too late and the eventual repair he did employ, I suspect was a botch job. After 2 months into my ownership I had to get a new main bonnet section as a huge crack appeared in the filler/gel coat. I can recommend the GRP services of Julian at Fibreon nr Birmingham.

Good luck
