Late last year, in a crazy moment of madness, I decided not to go this year (for obscure reasons).

Now its getting closer, I'm beginning to feel like I've really made a big mistake. nono

Anybody else currently residing in Regret City ?

An unusual medical procedure I have to admit... Still, don't knock it til u try it....If we get this guys mobile number we could just swamp him with pics and sound bytes to make him feel he was actually there! His partner/wife/boss/customer/mummy would get so fed up they'd surely pay for a private helicopter transfer just to shut him up!!

My brother, suffering from 'Post Le Mans Stress Disorder'in a moment of madness declared he wouldn't be going this year...he's still holding firm but my offer to pick him up on Thursday morning from home in my Testarossa has weakened him. Another 15 weeks of taunting should grind him down....

Family business meant I missed last year after a long succession of visits. It's tough in mid June knowing what's going on but not being there. I spent most of the 24 hours doing something I'd be doing anyway: tuned in to Radio Le Mans, but via the laptop. I even thought about sleeping in the car on the Saturday night to get really into the event (sad really)! It's amazing how good it was following the race by ear only. Those RLM guys do a really fantastic job.

All set up for 2007..missing out two years would mean I'm dead.

Nothing to stop a last minute trip - as long as you can sort a crossing then just drive down after work on Friday, sleep in the car, get a ticket Saturday morning, head back Sunday after the race.

Thought about doing this a couple of years ago, last year (camped away from the circuit and hung out with some people at HA) showed me it's easily done.
