Or woman, I guess.

Just shaping up for my first TVR, looking at a Cerbera (2 small children). Looks nice to my untutored eye (4.0 Sp 6, 2000, 21k, 6 services, had its rebuild at TVR Power in 2004, no stone chips or flapping trim that can't be fixed, can't see any obviously gaping shut lines, no birds' nests, one wheel at each corner, etc.).

If this were a 'normal' car I would get the RAC out to do a pre-sale inspection, but it feels to me like a specialist job. Does anyone know of someone who would provide this service for a suitable consideration? Ideally someone who would make it to Swindon for the job....

Advice welcomed, ta.

You could try Rob Ingleby at www.findasportscar.co.uk - he specialises in TVR inspections.

Whereabouts are you. I'm in Swindon and would quite happily let you look at my 4.2 if you need.
There's a couple of people who will travel. Rob Ingleby wanted £240 to travel to Swindon and inspect. Rob Ingleby [r.ingleby931@btinternet.com]

P.S. probably best to ask on the Cerbera forum as well. We'll all tell you to look at a V8 but hey
