Does anyone know how the short stumpy Ariel (think its for the DAB tuner) on the Sag connects to the body work?

I dont have the tuner and dont want to connect the ariel, just think it looks better with an ariel.

any help appreciated!
cheers

You need to drill a hole through the roof and it bolts through. I fitted one to my T350t when installing the DAB, it was realtively easy. There are several types of aerial, the Pioneer DAB unit, but they are hard to get now, Honda's standard fit and the later B sting type.

Honda dealers or breakers. The Honda one isn't cheep, comes on 4 parts, base, gasket, nut and mast, cost around £100 from memory.

How does the roof lining come away and re-attach?

It doesn't, you just take the cover off the roll cage and hide the nut behind it.
