I am not sure if I have posted pictures of motomk's battlecruiser on here or not.
It is an august 2000 VTII SS, similar to SS HSV's one on here, only this one is an auto.
It has performed a 12.5 at 106mph down the 1/4, 12.6 with me driving!
It is a bolt-on, ie no cam or forced induction! cam probably in the future.
I did have a newer VYII SV8 manual that did have a cam and about 250rwkw, but sold it, kept breaking things, ask island-boy!
Any questions about it just ask, it is a minnow compared to some of the weapons on here and in Oz!

Ok I admit, this was after the very rare occasion where I had just cleaned it. Bit of inspiration from BigNige!

And one from my profile from a few years back enjoying a bit of straight lining!

And another from a few years ago before it went into storage when the SV8 came along. Enjoying my favourite passtime twisties!

And with some VT senator rims on it, from along time ago

I like the front end on that.

What's the engine in it?

LS1 is standard on all SS Holdens from 1999, and HSV's etc.
I think the LS2 was introduced in around 2005 by HSV.

It has the standard LS1 with the LS6 manifold plus aftermarket valve springs. The stock ones were not very well after its layup!
The front bumper is standard SS with a few trinkets! The grilles are from a VTII Berlina, the headlights are Statesman International. Also has the better Calais horns on it as the SS was given a whimpy sounding horn!

wavey Hi motomk that looks fantastic. I did actually get round to washing the car properly this weekend but didn't have time to polish or detail it.

The front looks soooo much better than mine does yes

Also, geography Q.. Are the top two pics in outer Melb suburbs or am I in the wrong state?

As mentioned the front grilles are VTII Berlina. The VT series I has different ones. Part numbers:- 92059488 & 92059489

The headlights have black in them, they are a bit harder to come by but should be obtainable. Numbers for those:-92109118 & 92109119

The bumper was replaced back in 2003 after an altercation with a car that ran a stop sign! A sad saga as it was panel beaten twice, the first was not very good, ie the front didn't line up properly, the chassis rail was still out. Second much better as it was put on a lining up machine to get it right. It sought of precipitated the buying of the SV8 however the SS although not used as much was always there and reliable!!!

Right state! It is an Outer Western Melbourne suburb not too far from the airport or Calder!

Thought so - I'm guessing the newer parts of Taylors lakes/Keilor or similar? My place is at Point Cook & the missus is from Keilor so often out that way when back in Oz. Had many a "run" in the GTS Coupe along Kings Rd or the Keilor Melton Rd - give the local goat herders a bit of a razz in their blinged up 200zx's and similar rofl

Correct, Caroline Springs. The suburbs you have mentioned are nearby as is Kings road. I used to live in Keilor Park and before that Keilor Downs.

AH! The old battlecruiser hey Nick?
I remember a few good cruises in that in Melbourne when it was quite new. Those really long ones up all through the Dandenongs late at night.
And one night lined up at the lights with Sidey and Matty in their VT's on one side, and Haddad in his blown whatever on the other. LOL
Thems were the days!

The VY wasn't broke when I saw it.

I think the battle cruiser needs a run up the coast
