My 500 is in for a new clutch and some other bits and bobs. Just wondering, how much per hour do you pay for labour at the garage you use?

Cheers.

Surley the most important question to ask is how much is the garage that's doing your clutch charging.... laugh

When i used to get my Audi company car services, the dealer charged £75 pa + VAT, the local TVR dealer is less than that (even less for TVRCC members), and i can't see any argument which will convince me that you need more skill and knowledge to do an Audi, than a TVR.

£50 an hour or thereabouts strikes me as good for a TVR, as long as they do a good job.

Thats pretty good seeing as most independant garages charge £35/45,but probably wouldent want to touch TVRs,£40/45 an hour for someone that does TVRs seems good to mehehebut i am fortunate enough to run a garage so i get mine done for free by me

I'm sure they'd be happy if you wanted to pay them more! The point i was making was that TVR main dealer prices are in line with other manufacturers, nothing too contraversial in that!

Hi Pies

The guy I use is Chris Baldock - he owns a company called James Motor Sports specialising in TVR mechanical repair and bodywork. He has recently done some work on my car and I was very pleased with his work, and he's a lovely bloke who lives and breathes TVRs. He is in Molash just outside Canterbury - here's a link to his contact page on his website:
