Need a new ps2 game

Looking for a new PS2 game, as I'm bored of the stuff I have already. Anyway I'm looking for something like Doom 3 on X box but they didnt make it for the PS2 (IIRC). Could anyone recommend anything similar and equally good, I havent paid much attention to new releases in the gaming so a little behind.

Black sounds like it should fit the bill, the PS2's best FPS, that or Killzone.

Heard its a bit repetitive and only relatively short though

It's not massively long, but it's one of those shooters like Goldeneye or the original Perfect Dark where you want to go back again and again to play through the levels.

Red Faction can be had from gamestation for about a fiver, a brilliant FPS and you can shoot through walls and create your own tunnels. Great Fun

i think god of war 2 is out brilliant game! one of the best ...if thats not out get god of war 1
