Malaysian Griffs produced?

Hi all from a newbie,
I was wondering if TVR Malaysia has produced Griffiths and if yes if these numbers are included in the total mentioned by Steve's bible? I searched the archives, but could only find Chimeara's that were produced in Malaysia. Too bad that facility was closed down. Could have been a great sparepart place!

Most of the chims produced in Malaysia went to South Africa and Japan.
There was one red Griff in the malaysian showroom , built in 2000, and finally shipped to South Africa in 2002, where it was sold to myself. It was a bag of bolts to be honest,constantly overheating, and the South African TVR dealer gave me my money back after 3 months.
He then sent it to auction, where I bought it back,cheaply, had the engine rebuilt, and it is still sitting in my father-in-laws garage in Sandton with 3000kms on the clock.
The identification plate says it was built in Malaysia, but that just may be a tax thing.

to me it will never be a TVR.

we spend a couple of months every year in South Africa.
As far as I am aware, the TVR list for that country is as follows.
My red Griff 500
One other griff 500(Chianti Starmist) which was a private import.
22 Chimaeras(mostly 500's - all built in Malaysia), with 4 of those being stripped-out racing cars run by David Green.
10 Tuscans*
10 Tamoras*
10 T350's*
* some still unregistered
The unleaded fuel there is only 91-octane and I believe that octane-booster has to be used on the speed-6 cars.
The Griffs and Chimaeras have timing retardation to take account of this, and although this means a slight performance drop, this is more than compensated for by the fact that none of the cars have catalytic convertors as there are no emissions regulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the engine rebuild, my griff now runs fine, and has a straight-thru stainless exhaust with quadruple tail-pipes.I had loads of improvements done to assist with the cooling.
