Possibly the self-park switch failed? Mine has and I'm surprise to have heard it's not an uncommon failure.

Still, cheap to resolve if a little tricky to get at. Wouldn't stop me buying a car because of it.

Whats the betting the owner just parked it like that after showers with the wipers going and thought nothing of it

The car has been moved in each foto - so assuming he drove it to the new position, the wipers would return to the normal position.

PS Arent I sad t have noticed that
