Light bulb replacement Golf Mk IV

Hi All, new to forum and PH, but loving the site! I've got a MkIV Golf GT TDi PD(130), anyone got any advice how I can change the front light bulbs without having to pay VW a stupid fee for the privilage!? Do I need to remove the light unit and grille housing? Also as anyone got any info on the best filter replacements, my old skool head says K&N but not sure on the oil burner? all help and advice greatly recieved!

Drop me an email and I'll send you a user manual... It's a little convoluted (i.e. removing front spoiler) but easy enough to do DIY in about 20-30 minutes! Hope this helps!
