When I was removing the n/s bottom w/bone to re bush and paint
I have come across a bolt at the front that has been
put in the wrong way round and cannot be pushed through
has anyone come across this before and how did you remove it
there is hardly any access to cut the bolt head off.

This is the bolt that goes inside the wishbone - by the "front" you mean the outside, adjacent to the hub?
It is very tight clearance, but it will come out, if it is the bottom shock mount bolt that you are referring to. You may need to take the wishbone and shock out together, then you may be able to twist the shock a bit to help get a bit more clearance for it. I do remember thinking "that's never going to come out of there", but trust me, it does. It's one of those that you want plenty of copaslip on when it goes back to make sure it comes out easier next time.
OK, that's not the one obviously! The pic is very dark, bit I think I see the problem. It does appear to be in the wrong way round! You have been stitched up there.
The bolt head will have to come off I think (tap it through a touch then hacksaw the head off from the bottom with a junior hacksaw), and then you are going to have fun trying to extract the remains of the bolt. I have just replaced these bolts on mine so if you are stuck for a replacement let me know, I still have the originals and they're OK (just not shiny enough for me!)
PS has your car had the body off chassis work at some point?

Hi Yes it must of had the body off at some point did
not get any history with car the ofside w/bones were
totally knackerd but the n/s are fine as you can tell
from photo, will try and remove the bolt tomorrow. This
started off as a clean and rust treatment but I can feel
a creep approaching

I can just imagine all those who've done a body off restore rushing out to check they put the bolts in the right way!
Not something you'd necessarily think about when you bolt the rolling chassis togather before dropping the body on, but obviously a bit of a problem further down the line.
Good luck with that, and do let me know if you want the odd bolt posting.

That's a bugger what about a 4 inch angle grinder push the bolt out as far as it can go maybe you could get the grinder in there.
Just a thought.
Good luck
