Fellow residents of Nottingham may be pleased to hear that I am doing my very best to clean up the atmosphere and remove the c**p that we and our children breathe in. The MOT today confirmed that my exhaust emissions are cleaner (contain significantly less particulate hydrocarbon matter) than the air entering the engine.

I'm now writing to Mr Blair to claim my carbon credits and to seek tax relief to enable me to continue this valuable service.

You could also do a carbon offset on it too for a laugh, doesnt cost much, and the irony will be quite delicious.

I did my bit for the environment last week. I caught the bus when my car got impounded. And today I only revved it 123 times instead of the normal 176 times
