I've posted this in the general section in the hope that someone can tell me where I can get a strip of rubber door sealer.

The door seals on my early cerbera as I believe the early sort and are fine except for the drivers door window leading edge. I'm pretty sure if I can find something with a sort of 'B' section profile then I'll be sorted however I'm at a loss as to where might supply it. I have tried the local Halfords and other motorist type shops with no luck.

Anyone got any bright ideas ?

Cheers

Why not just put on the later door seals? The old one just pull off and the new ones just press on. Should be a TVR part number I guess. You may have to adjust the door as they're a bit thicker, bit mine didn't need any adjustment [some years back] when the new ones went on.

I sort of see your point, however the rest of the seals are perfect, it is just the front of the drivers side window. Maybe I should try to get a section of later type seal for that bit..

Try this:

www.woolies-trim.co.uk/StockCatagories.html

They do many types of different section type rubber for classic cars mainly though. Only in Market Deeping too - just a tad north of Peterborough.

Might be a start.
