air lock

I think I may have an air lock in the cooling system in the chim, whats the best way of finding out if I have one and getting rid of it.

Fill up the swirl tank

run the car for a few seconds (15)

check swirl tank and re-fill if necessary

You could bleed the radiator, but it's probably not worth it unless you've emptied the whole system

Bleeding the radiator was the only way (and easiest) I could get rid of all the air in my 94 Chim. I think it probably depends on the construction of the cooling system which changes from year to year.
