i went in november to see the brazilian gp in maranello.
we flew into bologna, via amsterdam, via manchester. modena is an easy 40 min drive from the airport along the A1 autostrada. havnt got a clue how the tolls work though, its all in italian, so we just drove off.
didnt book the hire car before we left, sorted that out at the airport. just remember to take both parts of your driving license.
stayed at the "hotel d'leon" in the south east of Sassuolo. nice hotel, close to Fiorano and Marenello, (about a 15 min drive).
if you look on the italian forum of around that time, you should see more info that i typed at the time.
if you have any questions, PM me through my profile.

Mike

It just happened to coincide with a Euro tour we are going on with 9 other Ferrairs, we plan to arrive on the Saturday and leave for Tuscany on the Sunday. We're staying the night in Fiorano and subject to confirmation have parking/ display area at the Fiorano Circuit

If you are considering driving and are a member of the FOC it's worth contacting them as they have a limited number of spaces at Fiiorano circuit

Also take a lok over o nClub Scuderia, a number are considering getting their cars down there by transporter hten going onto Fiorano for the Celebrations

nice cant wait to see the pics

i will post some later or tomorrow. some are on my camera, some are on my mate who went with me. i also have a little video action of the F1 team wet weather testing at fiorano.

when you go, it is well worth heading up into the hills above maranello on the P3.
if you have the town square on your left, just follow the main road out of town, thats the P3.
not only is it a great piece of tarmac, but there are some fantastic little restaurants up there. a lot better than the over priced stuff you will find in maranello and fiorano.

when the chim lands, i will be going back out there for a week. a beautiful part of the world, with some fantastic roads and stunning women, two of which work in the little cafe in the town square.
