Which diff oil do you use?

I think the Bible recommends using Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) available at any motor factors, although I cant remember the spec.

Fully synth ATF in the gearbox maybe (T5) but not in the diff please.

Seem to recall opieoilman recommending 75w-140, castrol SAF-XJ.

Look back in the opie oil posts on the general forum.

The newer diff (can't remember which one that is) doesn't like the wrong grade. The LSD can seize causing mechanical damage. The Dealers are very fussy about which oil they use.
