Just had a call from the alarm shop who were going to fit a cobra system, apparently the fuse box and fuel injector module are anging loose in the passenger footwell and he doesn't want to continue until this is fixed.

Any ideas if this could be the case and if so how they should be fixed back in to place??

Day 8 of ownership and already a little problem. Still yesterday I got to drive with the roof down so it's not all bad.

By 'hanging loose' do they mean, not fixed to anything - i.e. stuffed alongside/on top of the battery box and not screwed to the body in some way?
If that's the case, then that's how they were built - nothing to worry about there.

The fuse box is bolted in to body, on mine anyway. The ECU is left to find any nook/cranny where it feels at home rolleyes

I think that is exactly what they mean. I'm going to go down there right now to have a look.

Thanks all.

That sounds like an alarm fitter! Cant tell the difference between an ECU & a fusebox.....

At least yours is admitting to being out of his depth before cutting into the ECU

You may want to discuss your alarm problems with Carl at tvruk - apparently he's top man - see www.tvruk.tv/
