where to buy a 360?

Looking to buy as 360 as Forza 2 will be around soon.

Where is the best place to get a 360 at the cheapest price, I haven’t started to look yet, but will do over the weekend.

Kinda depends from week to week, play.com sometimes have good deals with games thrown in, but you may well have more success at HMV, Game or Gamestation, best bet is to take a wander into town and see what sort of deals are on offer and then compare that to what is available online.

I gave up trying to save a few pence here and there. I went to Makros to get one, but the customer service was non existant. In the end I just went to Currys, told them what I wanted - 10 mins later I walked out the shop with my 360. American Express a little lighter, but I was well and truly fed up with all the comparing prices and packages. For £20 or so more it cost me for saving the mucking about and dealing with Makros etc, I'm not complaining!

Got mine from Gamestation a couple of weeks ago. Xbox360 premium with wireless controller and any two games for 320 quid. As good a deal as anything I found on the 'net.

Dabs have a bundle - 360 Premium, GoW, PGR3, Smackdown vs Raw 2007, live arcade, and an additional controller for £323 inc vat.

Well, i am exactly the same.

I have seen Forza 2 and it is amazing!

I am waiting because i am sure that Microsoft is going to something e.g. pricedrop when the Playstation 3 comes out.

Rumours are that MS are making a black version, with a larger harddrive and HDMI port. Rumours of course.

I have been looking around for a while, and Play.com had the core at £150 - so if they continued that I could see the Premium being £199.

I may be wrong, but i havent got the cash to buy one anyway yet

Yep, nasty horrid rumours, especially those rumours about the HD-DVD drive being embedded in the new one. No truth whatsoever in 'em, especially not the ones about the early ones being seen around MS.
