Groupama

Car insurance time again had a quote from A-Plan for a company called Groupama with a saving of £85 over Admiral. Has anyone heard about Groupama Good or Bad?

not heard but try greenlight as well

they took too long to get a quote back to me so I had gone with a-plan

with my mods greenlight were a solid 100 quid cheaper than A-plan... service from Aplan is great though

Know someone who worked in their claims dept - not all that great by most accounts...

I was insured with Groupama when I had a claim and they were superb.

I just got a quote from A-plan and they where a country mile away from my renewal qoute from Elephant,They wanted to insure me with a company called Marcostudy i think, but during the quote ( I would not let then know what elephant had quoted for renewal)They said if I told them what it was they would beat it!!!!. I just felt there operation, the way they qoute over the phone without a computer system sounded like they where reading from books sounded a bit like they where winging it as they went along and do not feel comfortable using them

Never say what you have been quoted, wait for them to make an offer, if its better than what you have already been quoted then say you have got it cheaper by whichever company and see if they will beat it.

totally disagree as two can play at that game, just make up a fictional number £200 less than you best quote and then watch as they come in a futher £25 better..... had it twice now, very transparent and obvious whats going on - so why not play the game
