Can anyone recommend a good piece of software for helping to manage tasks, to do lists etc (PC, not mobile based) I use Outlook, but am interested in exploring alternatives… Lots of balls in the air at once, changing priorities, people dumping things on me at short notice… At the end of the day I sit down and end up thinking “…oh arse! I forgot to do X Y Or Z” All suggestions gratefully received, but Ideally something simple!

Thanks in advance

Jon

Depends how you want to do it.

I know you said not mobile based but any PDA will come with a Desk Top Package to mirror your PDA on your PC, and once you've finished at your desk you can take all your todo'swith you.

I started with a cheap Palm of ebay (great, simple OS) to see how I got on with the concept, now I have a Nokia E70 PDA Phone and swear by it.

We use a product called Gemini (www.countersoft.com/) to do bug tracking and issue management for software development. It sounds like exactly what you're after. Best of all it's FREE for 10 users or less.
