Pictures from today at Silverstone

We convoyed past my sons school at 8.30am this morning as we trundled through my village, my wife got quizzed by all the mums at the school gates "who the hell does your husband hang out with" / "what an amazing site", were the typical comments. My Son thinks I am a hero this evening - priceless
Great day out Chaps, good to meet you all

Hi there,
WOW !!!!!!!!!!
What a day I have around 500 pictures to process and will post more as soon as I have worked through them.
Particular thanks to Paul (CUE99T) for the lift to and from Silverstone in his Murcielago.
The pictures Traxx has posted are of the southern convoy so heres a picture of the northern convoy to be going on with.
More soon.
Regards
Tim

What a great story - your son is going to be king of the playground from now on
Despite the GT3 Gallardo failing to turn up (Graham WILL kill someone) it was a GREAT day out. It was nice to finally put some faces to names.
Big thanks to Graham for getting us a bit of track time as compensation.
My apologies to Jonny for so effectively demonstrating the Gallardo's brakes
. And also, sorry to Mandeep for yelling "Leave the brakes alone!", "Turn in... harder, harder!" and "Power, power, power!". I'd make a great porn film Director!
The noise Andy's G made on the dyno was sick. I didn't think it was ever going to stop revving.
Carl. 620bhp. Sweet.
Thanks to everyone for making it a fab day out.

620bhp on WRC's rollers - sounded fabulous on track too.
A photo does not do this particular moment justice. Andy's Gallardo on the rollers sounded like an F1 car in captivity. Astonishing noise!
THIS thing is AWESOME. 680bhp supercharged V8. Great driving position too and surprisingly nice to drive on the road.
