We convoyed past my sons school at 8.30am this morning as we trundled through my village, my wife got quizzed by all the mums at the school gates "who the hell does your husband hang out with" / "what an amazing site", were the typical comments. My Son thinks I am a hero this evening - priceless

Great day out Chaps, good to meet you all

Hi there,

WOW !!!!!!!!!!

What a day I have around 500 pictures to process and will post more as soon as I have worked through them.
Particular thanks to Paul (CUE99T) for the lift to and from Silverstone in his Murcielago.

The pictures Traxx has posted are of the southern convoy so heres a picture of the northern convoy to be going on with.

More soon.

Regards

Tim

Knew it

As soon as I saw this lovely sight this morning I knew there were at least two PH'ers I could spot from the road outside the hotel!

A great start to the day - looks like you guys had a great time.

Despite the GT3 Gallardo failing to turn up (Graham WILL kill someone) it was a GREAT day out. It was nice to finally put some faces to names.

Big thanks to Graham for getting us a bit of track time as compensation. clap

My apologies to Jonny for so effectively demonstrating the Gallardo's brakes . And also, sorry to Mandeep for yelling "Leave the brakes alone!", "Turn in... harder, harder!" and "Power, power, power!". I'd make a great porn film Director! laugh

The noise Andy's G made on the dyno was sick. I didn't think it was ever going to stop revving.

Carl. 620bhp. Sweet. thumbup

Thanks to everyone for making it a fab day out. clap

620bhp on WRC's rollers - sounded fabulous on track too.

A photo does not do this particular moment justice. Andy's Gallardo on the rollers sounded like an F1 car in captivity. Astonishing noise!

THIS thing is AWESOME. 680bhp supercharged V8. Great driving position too and surprisingly nice to drive on the road.

Totally agree. It was one of those days that the main reason for being there (GT3) became irrelevent and it was just a fun day out.

Loads of pics on their way

WOW!

What cars went on the dyno then? and what were the numbers?? (The Cerbera lot have made me obsessed with real figures of owners cars!)

Anyone get a sound clip of Andy's Gallardo?? - I've still not yet had the pleasure of hearing it.

Great pics Paul. Odd seeing the yellow G with stripe, Paul. We were only discussing doing this to mine the other day. Looks good!

Loving the pics, certainly looks like a good day had by all and the noise alone must have been awesome rotate

Was thinking about a trip to WRC's rollers myself at some point.

Traxx, was it you in F430 who went a bit wide on the copse? I didn't think you were gonna make it round!!

I was videoing you at the time so let me know if you want me to post it!

I have some excellent pictures too, so they will follow.

Cheers
