Can anyone recommand a place where I can buy front springs for my 350i? I've looked at the website from wedge automotive and they ask 23 pounds per spring. I'm wondering if a spring which is so cheap can be any good, cause I don't want my front spoiler to hit the ground at every little bump!!

I used to race on them before I went coil over. I am sure that Richard won't mind charging double if you think they are too cheap...

I can imaging he won't mind!! The reason that i ask this is because i've had more than enough problems with springs for my other car (an alfa GTJ from '73) and found out the hard way that good quality is essential for springs........

Also try Tower View Race Services and Richard Moore Racing. I got some from RT nee. Wedge Automotive. They looked good but sold them before getting a chance to fit them as my competition chassis has now been converted to rose jointed coil overs, by Richard Moore

I've got RT Racing springs+shocks(+bushes) all round on my 280i. I haven't ventured off the driveway officer :-) as she's not got an MOT. But hypothetically speaking, if I had, I think I would have found her to be handling fairly well, ahem! Certainly much improved but given the condition of the old stuff it would be hard not to improve! Could be fun to get used too :-)

Fitted the stiffer 390 front springs to my 350i with pleasing results. £54 each from David Gerald TVR.
