Is there a limit on the length of a message that can be posted in the forum? I have noticed that long messages that I post seem to get truncated whereas other people seem to post inordinately long ramblings. Perhaps, PH have got a drivel filter which cuts out my dross but I wondered if there was a setting somewhere which will enable long posts.
Anyone know?
Sometimes when you preview it doesnt show all of the text, but when I click post/send, it comes up with everything I typed... have you tried clicking send anyway to see what happens?
Someone else asked this question before and PetrolTed said it was something like 7000 words(?), not sure if my number is correct, but Ted said he would be surprised if any ever ran out of space.......and yes the preview window does cut off you post at a certain point.
No limit at all on messages being posted.
The preview page can only cope with about a few paragraphs though.
