996 GT2 dyno run on Maha LPS 3000
Discussion
dynos are always going to be hard to get acurate figures from. its the design of them. im not saying they are a bad thing, but its difficult to get consistent figures.
i sujest you read up on dynos to see what the veriables are. he is a quick list that i can think of.
type of dyno.
number of rollers
type of tyre ytuor running
tyre presures
gear used
engine and drivetrain temps (esp on a turbo!!)
the "calcutated" drivetrain loss
these are just a few. my personal oppinion is dynos are great for compearing before and after tuning. but there are sooo many variables that you can just say "my dyno sheet from 1 pull says im making XXXbhp so thats what im making!".
thanks Chris.
PS nice power though!
