This may be the most boring post I ever... er, post.

I picked up a Golf today... needed a run-around. I already have the automotive equivalent of wellington boots and a DJ and needed some jeans to kick around in. Anyway, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to buy a diesel... my hand just kept moving right on the 'choose your model' page... and when I got right to the end I ticked the box. I'm such a klutz. BTW 4x4 was a must.

I'll post some proper pics when it stops bloody raining (June). The weather's a double shame as there is a small Pistonhead blat passing here in 2 hours - Lambo, Tiv, Aston & Fezza. You can probably guess who - they are well known in this place. I'm hoping I'll get a pic-of-the-day courtesy of them.

If it stops raining. (And yes, I know it's sunny down there )

Not in Embra it's not. Pissing it down.

If the Aston needs ticking over while you're playing with your new toy by the way....

An R32 will make a very very nice runaround. Looks like the right colour too. Mk4 or 5 ?

Mk 5... Had to have silver or would have had to wait another 3 months (not many allocated here yet) and I'm about to put 4k miles on the clock in the next month.

GC, you are an utter, utter b4st4rd.

You are not only musically and photographically talented, you also have an inspirational/aspirational house, a quality Landy, a VERY nice AM, and now this...

I wish you didn't seem like such a thoroughly nice chap; it would make hating you so much easier...

It's OK - my accountant hates me enough for all the PH fraternity put together.

BTW Greg... in that motor (and I assume it's a beemer), don't you find that nobody ever lets you in at junctions?

I sat in my M3 for 7 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 5 hours, 27 minutes and 4 seconds trying to get onto the A46.

Yup, until I point my Glock at them and they see the cluods of ganja smoke coming out of the window.

(not really, I am very good at letting people out and I think the good reward the good etc, never seem to have a problem, but I've only had it a week.)
