Renewing heater matrix

I have an S2 and the heater matrix is leaking, fogging up the instruments and needs changing. It looks a difficult job, does anyone have any experience of this and can offer some tips. I have to change the radiator too, which is also leaking.

I had a Westfield without a heater and it did that too.

Oh thanks Geoff... give them all a second chance to rub my nose in it hehehe...

I was going to reply to the thread saying something along the lines of "are you sure the matrix is leaking as thats what I thought" but then decided againt it...

still, the instruments have not steamed up since my question... probably cos its below zero in the barn and the car is still in pieces
