Blimey, cars having a bit of attention at the moment, thought be easier with the rad out (changing various fittings & bolts)no wonder some of you on here change the rad to an ally one it weighs a bloody ton ,now i know the reason most people go this route for the cooling benefits, but look at that weight saving from right over the front wheels, and no ten ton tessie is going back in,the silicon coolant & induction pipes have cleared me out,,,,note to self stop getting sidetracked,i am supposed to be doing headlights, respraying underbonnet lower satin finish, painting & insulating top chassis rails(below exhaust headers)new anti roll bar inner front bushes, new rad bobbin mounts, resecure bonnet mounting (bonded section at front moving away)fibreglass inner, braided brakelines, remove front wishbones and prime & paint along with changing any bushes along the way, just a few late nights theneek

Power = heat, I assume that is why it is so big. Water is damned heavy tho

Limescale is heavy too, and the inside of the rad has a huge surface area to get coated with it. It might be worth descaling it and just see what comes out.

Thanks Peter, but the rad had been recored six months before purchase 18 mths ago, and as been run on distilled water and %45 mix of 5year coolant,i put torch inside and tubes are spotless,no i think i am just to used to modern ali/plastic rads, some of these units can twist their so flimsyrotate

Old?
Crate?

It will soon be more shiney than a very shiney thing that has got an extra special reason to be shiney...!

Seriously good luck with the work. The top wishbones are not that hard to get off...but then i didnt have any body work to hinder removal!!!
I have got the same issu with the bonnet pivots...some of the fibreglass has split...looks like someone has tried to pop rivet it back together at some point...?

So Andy, when are you releasing the latest version of Blackadder then...

That Daddy - Looks like you might end up missing the sun if you're not too careful. Best get those late nights in early! - Does that make sense?
