Anybody fancy it? Thruxton is rumoured to be the fastest circuit in the country, there is a day on 2nd april about £250 for a full day, only problem is noise levels so will def have to fit standard exhaust.

hmm thats the day after Brands and I'm still going to be down south. How close is Thruxton to that neck of the woods, might even pop along to watch for a while.

Kent to Norfolk, not exactly around the corner !! From Brands, back onto the "Road to hell" 5 or 6 junctions up the M11 and then a fair amount of twiddly bits at the other end. If the journey was easy would probably take 2 - 2.5 hours, if it was a pain (as would probably be the way) who knows ?

hmm so its a day in Stamford shopping with the good lady or a 2hr blast to go watch some track action, difficult choice - one is fun the other earns brownie points.

Mate - you are thinking of Snetterton - not Thruxton.

Thruxton is down near Andover, on the way to Salisbury. So from Brands you would go virtually half-way round the M25 to the M3, down the M3 to the A303 junction and along there for a bit.....

2.5 hours is about right I'm guessing, maybe a bit faster if the traffic is kind (!) - just in a completely different direction.....

I'm about 20 minutes away from Thruxton and if any of you guys are going I'll go but cant take car on track as I wont do with the standard stoppers.

I'm running a miltek + capa headers so I could, if asked, go to Castle Combe and get a free noise test done as a guide for you guys wanting to take modded cars

Sorry mate,

My mistake but it was early on a Sunday after a fairly heavy night out, I have actually done both circuits so will show you just how heavy a night it was.
Not much damage done though !!!! approx same time involved and it looks like Well Fans might be being dragged off somewhere else anyway.
