Can a black 355 GTS roof section be colour coded?

Going to look at a GTS today but it has a black roof (the car is yellow. I am assuming the roof has a vinyl type cover so I would like to know if this can be removed and the roof section painted tomatch the car?

I don't think it is vinyl and therefore can be repainted to the colour of your choose.

the later GTS' were all colour coded , what yr is car you're seeing ?

The car is a 1997.

Its not vinyl, its just a tectured finnish. The body shop will just DA sand the surface flat, prime and paint it. Small job for a good shop.
