getting at the battery

OK - Dumb Question... Getting battery out of cerbera... I took of the covering (i.e. fibre glass that covers back of engine etc)... took battery clamp off and then tried to slide battery out - and it dont shift... Am i being dumb???

also - if i want to quickly jump start the car - how the hell do you do this???

No you did right, the battery should slide out but you will probably have to remove the airbox on that side.

Jump starting is no prob, the positive terminal is the one exposed thru the hole, use a bracket on the engine for the negative.

i put on a new battery a month back took old one off and put new one back without removing airbox just angled the battery upwards and it went in took ten mins in and out
