Parts query

After breaking down today i'm after a distributor cap for my Chimaera, so i went onto www.Chimaerapages.com to get the part number and it quotes Lucas part no.44870 then after further searches on there i checked the links and found www.clever-trevor.net and they qoute the part no as Lucas 035E782A.
Can someone please advise me as to which of these is the right on or if either are o.k.

clever-trevor net wesite says DISTRIBUTOR CAP ROVER V8. PART NO 035E782A

They do not claim that is a Lucas part number - it may be their own stock number

yes it does if you read the description of product (manufactured by Lucas) and the fact that it is on a lucas box is a giveaway

It may be a Lucas part, but that doesn't mean the part number they're listing for it is the Lucas part number (it might be, I don't know).

I dont know the actual part number, but if you just ask for a distribtor cap for a rover v8 engine you wont be far out. The only thing you maybe asked is if its a serp or pre serp engine.

Number on the box looks like DD8107 bears no resemblance to the part number Clever Trevor quote

Got dis. cap and rotor arm today and when i got home from work i went in the garage to replace them and whilst doing so i had some problems in removing H.T leads from old dis. cap and in doing so i pulled the coil lead from its connector and so i'm now in need of some new H.T leads.

All parts were fitted this evening, and managed to get to hear the roar from the V8 afterwards which is a good sign
