Ok, looking for a simplish Force feedback steering wheel setup and aiming at maybe a Thrustmaster Ferrari force GT. i don't want to spend silly money and this seems to be a good setup for what I want (Mainly Test drive unlimited at the moment, but will seriously consider GTR once setup)

Does anyone have this setup and is it any good?

ps. Yes I've seen the newest 6speed all singing all dancing wheel, but I dont play enough to justify the outlay of £100+ (nice as it is)

Not sure about the Force GT, but I had the Enzo (well still have technically). It wasn't a bad wheel, although not very well made.

Thrustmaster stuff has had a reputation for being stuff that you can repair yourself, but you'd hope not to. With my Enzo I had to solder back one of the paddle wires as I lost the ability to change up gears and recently I discovered that the spring in the brake pedal has gone soft and now I permanently have 1/4" of brake force applied. I wasn't able to get into the base sufficiently to change the spring which is why I'm in the market for a new wheel now.

I'd say I had it for about 2 years in total, so I'm not that disappointed with it - it's just not a wheel that I'd expect to last forever.

One day I hope to be able to justify one of the ECCI GTS wheels - but at $1500 that might be hard to explain to the other half.
