hi everyone put tv on to see what is going on in the world on text, i see mr brown in his wisdom isthinking of putting up tax again on big engine cars to about £400 ayear from wens, nite weather that includes tvr,not sure , have to wait and see ,it might be that maybe it is only cars manufactered this year not sure there was a number of something like 756,000 so looking at that i am thinking it is the cars that are made from now on , any one with an update on this would be welcome thanks paul

Nah shouldn't be an issue to us. All depends on the year etc, but as long as all the emissions section of the V5 is empty (as it should be on Griff's) it will just be the standard amount (£175 at present) rather than to top level

Not sure for SE's or very late 500's though - anyone care to enlighten us.

Just renewed for another 12 months from 1st March and was £190.
Its a Griff SE, the V5 states 398 G/KM.

My Tuscan (2 years old), just renewed at £175 and no figures stated on the V5

Excellent, thanks for letting us know. I renewed my Griff on the 1st of March as well and it was 175
