TVR Servicing

I would like to start by saying how much I enjoy the forum and the dedication everybody shows to ensure the 'S' remains at the forefront of the TVR pack. I have a 1990 S2 in BRG and I think it is a truly brilliant car - it is not the fastest or the most modern but it has been 100% reliable and the smile it brings to the face everytime I drive it (particularly in the summer??) is worth the price alone, but as you are all owners you would know that anyway! My question is simple - the car has been in storage for 9 months (driven once a month or so to keep things ticking over) and I want to send it for a good service so it is ready for the summer when I return from deployment. Does anybody know of a garage in the Bath area where it can have a MOT and service?

I don't know the indies down in the Bristol and Bath area, but I notice on your profile you're based in Hampshire, so Andy @ APM would be a good call as he's very good, I wouldn't trust my S with anyone else.

I've used David Batty in Compton (nr Guildford) for 5 yrs and always found him honest, helpful and sensibly priced.

I would suggest giving Simon at Autokinetic (www.autokinetic.co.uk/) a call, although he only sells TVRs he seems to know everyone connected with them, is very knowledgable and is near Bath.
