Get him to throw the service in - even if its £600 - 800 more on the price, that way your not having to pay more than a normal service (WITHOUT UNFORSEEN PROBLEMS) for it --if he wants a sale & its a straight car, then he should not bother too much about having it done for you.Im always dubious if the seller says it will need a service, IF, they arnt willing to have it done before you pick it up -- I start wondering why they arnt having it serviced if thats all it requires.

Sod the service I'd be more worried about the Insurance status.
Looks a nice car and well maintained but be sure to find out what was repaired.
In my personal opinion I wouldn't pay nigh on £11k for a 33K mile R plate 4.2.
But that's just me and I do not mean to put you off at all.
The screen is delaminating as well. Great colour though.

Blimey Lee, have you got some kind of addiction to cars that are on the register 
?
There's another Yellow one with similar mileage that doesn't mention being stolen / repaired for an extra grand (presuming it's HPI clear)
Bearing in mind cat d = 33 to 50 per cent discount, I'll let you do the rest of the sum.

Thats a very good point & bear in mind, it may not put you off, but it will likely put of the one you may eventually try to sell it to. -Id take a fair drop on that price, as it seems high even though a Cat D is really nothing to be worried about.
Lee - Like Wilder says, a Cat 'D' may not put you off, but when you come to sell it you will dind it difficult.
Don't take this the wrong way, but if money is tight for you, A Cerbera is not the ideal car to buy if money is tight, most people would advise you to keep £3k in the bank from your budget 'just in case'. Take another look at thar Champagne yellow one.

It seems like it is an OK car, and it still has 11 months of warranty with it. It will probably look a whole lot better in the flesh as it is a yellow pearl paint.

And whilst the buyer has said "no offers".....if he wants the sale fast there`s always a deal to be had.

If it's ages ago, when the car was reasonably new, I reckon you'd have to have inflicted some serious panel damage on it.
My old 96 has been attacked twice by various vehicles, and the insurance repaired it both times. Once with a new rear quarter & full respray.
There's plenty of straight one's out there.
Keep your eye on Auto trader as well.

With my car, there's always a small snag list of about 300 items for them to also do.
I've had three services so far, all over £1500.
It's been at Power for a week having a 6K service, so I'm guessing that one's not going to buck the trend either.

I wouldn't buy this car just because the owner hasnt bothered to hoover his carpets before taking the pictures for his sales advert, how lazy is that? ... never mind the other good points raised about it being overpriced and needing a service. you want 1500 off for the lack of service and 1500 off for the cat d. it's an 8k car.
