Can anyone tell me if the factory oil temp and pressure gauge senders are electric?

I'm told i need the track day sump to be able to fit the sender units, but if they are electric then a filter sandwich plate should do the job.

Cheers

Factory gauge is analogue type as in not electric, oil temp is via phial and sensor into the sump, oil pressure is via phial to oil way on the rear of the engine.
