Oil Filter - Landrover?

Im going to change the oil in my Chim for the first time. Was going to use Mobil 1 as in the book (unless anyone has a better or cheaper alternative). I have noticed that the oil filter is a Landrover one - I was going to get another the same from my local Landrover spares place, but is it up to the job?

The part number I have is ERR3340 which I believe is a LandRover part. I got mine from Rimmer's.

Or Mann W930/20 just as good quality,local motor factor,i like to use either Mann or Mahle,i use these all the time at the workshop good quality stuff.

Just ensure that they have the anti-drain back flap, particularly if you have pre-serp

silkolene pro s 15w /50 from the opie oil man , also was on offer. Also the book is wrong mine took a clean 7litres , not 5 . So order 8 onefor spare.

Aren´t there 2 sizes of filters for PAS and non-PAS-cars?

Nope.
I've also never been able to get more than 6 litres to the full line after letting it settle,in any of mine

I ordered 6 lts of oil thinking i would have one spare , well after the 6 one had gone in and the oil was just touching the Min mark , i then had search on past forums and found some said 6 and some 7 lts of oil , odd. Hand book says 5lt or the bible one or the other.
