Need a rad for my 350???

Hi folks, where can i get a rad for my 1985 350. It's been in a bump and the rad is knackered. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

just take it to your local rad place, they will recore it, the core is range rover.

Its not the core thats damaged, its the ends!

I think the rad is based on a Range Rover, however the inlets/outlets are different, as well as the mounting brackets (possibly). You could always get a knackered one from a RR and have a rad recon company modify it using your old rad as a pattern.

A google image search showed this, which is a RR unit but the pipework is slightly different. Can't remember how the mounts are positioned on mine, so they may be ok. Of course, you could always buy a new rad and just have the outlets modded.



Failing that, www.bellhillgarage.co.uk may have one - they break TVR's.

www.tvrcarparts.com also list a new alloy one.

it just so happens that my rad has been sent away to be re cored. the man knows what a wedge is and has said that i have a thicker core fitted as it will help with better cooling as he has done lots of work om tvrs. it comes back tomorrow (wed) and is £150 so wasnt too expensive either.

Yes, and I like shiny.....mmmmmmmshiny.... TVR carparts do one.

Seriously tempted though but need to chase a local option for meself.
