It needs,door seals,drivers seat recovering,a bit of paintwork,wheels refurbed,and the cats are missing! maybe a service? waiting to find out! 64k. thinking of offering 8k, what do you think?

Lee, I get the impression you're trying to do this on the cheap. I really hope you don't get bitten.
Nice colour car and interior though. I'm never too sure about those induction kits. Bear in mind a brand new clutch & two tyres will have cost a grand I doubt he'll drop that much, ut as it's been up for a while you never know.

Iknow he paid 10k for it two years ago and it needs a fair bit spending on it to get it right! so 8k is a starting point! i have spoken to him on the phone and its had recent clutch & few other bits.needs paint work,seals,steering wheel retrim,drivers seat retrim,service,cats,door cards refurbed,wheels refurbed so a good few quid needs spending that you can see, never mind what you cant see! so i expect to throw about 3k at it to get it nice wich then makes it 11k so not so cheap anymore! i could go and buy one for 11k that looks like its a great car untill i have owned it several days when all the little faults show their selves and then have to spend xxx amount on it. im not after the cheapest one i can get me hands on! but one that i can use from time to time, and work on over summer to make it a hobby and hopefully get the car to a good standard and personalise it.not thinking of running it on a shoe string budget,will be a third car so tucked away most of the time.

I nearly bought an Olympic Blue 4.2 about 4 years ago, it had fairly high miles at the time (around 50k or so)but I just missed out. I can't remember the name of the owner at the time but he was a regular on here (car had been to Joospeed - now TCS - a few times), I also remember that it was a "good" 4.2 in that it was kicking out over 350bhp. This looks like the same car but I could be wrong. It also doesn't mean that it's still a decent car etc....but it could be...

OK so we now understand your reasoning, but this one does seem to need a lot doing to it.
There was another story on here about someone buying a cheap ebay one and doing it up. It ended up costing them a fortune, but they do probably have the best Cerbera going now.

Yup Marc was a PH regular, not heard from him for ages though .. he sold the cerbie to build a track day westfield xtr, I did have a conversation with him about a year ago about building a track day cerbera aswell but nothing came of it. top bloke, I remember that blue cerbie with great fondness I hope whoever buys it treats it with respect
