Rear OS wheel squeak
Discussion
I've got a problem with the rear offside wheel squeaking. I thought it was the brakes, as the squeak went when I pressed the brake pedal, or applied the hand brake when moving. So I replaced the rear pads/discs, this seemed to solve the problem for a while, but the squeak has just reappeared!
I am now thinking it could be the wheel bearing? The squeak still goes away when the brakes are applied, but it also changes note, when cornering left and right. However there does not seem to be any movement in the bearing when I checked!
I am now very confused though, as I have just done a test by putting some water on the brakes/disc and going for a drive - the squeak has gone. Maybe the new pads/discs are squeaking in the same way as the old ones? I used copper slip on the rear of the pads when I assembled it. Maybe I will disassemble the lot tonight again and re-assemble with more copper slip.

Some while ago, whilst doing a chassis clean I somehow managed to get a small amount of rust, I think knocked off of the unused edge of the disc, between the disk and the hub. As a result the disk was not running exactly true. Because of this the calliper was constantly having to slide in and out and it did protest with a squeak. Cleaned it off and all was well.
Well...
Been outside freezing my nuts off....
Used a DTI to measure the disc runout - measured 0.6mm. Took the disc off - measured the runout again on the hub and got about 0.4mm.... These seem excessive to me. I think there is a problem with the hub bearing not running true, causing the disc and wheel to wobble slightly. This as steve-v8s said above is causing the calliper to move on its sliding pins and cause a squeak.
Any ideas why the bearing seems to not be running true? I can't feel any play at all with the wheel on either up/down left/right? I think it has been replaced just before I bought the car (over a year ago).
