Cerbera tech data sheet

Has anyone (ex workers perhaps?) got a Cerbera technical datasheet for the Cerbera? Unfortunately I have Michelin tyre plc arguing the toss that the only OEM rubber size for the Cerbera is 245/45/16 rear and 225/45/16 front and I'd like to fax them something that proves that 255/35/18 rear and 225/35/18 front were factory fit OEM options for the spider wheels.

Don't you just hate some tyre places.

For the record, my owners manual says 225/45 x 16" front, 235/50 x 16" rear

Seems strange, weren't Bridgestones fitted as standard so how would Michelin know?

Dunno about Spiders as these were not Cerb wheels - well not up until 2000 anyway. Up until then it was RaceLines with 18" wheels only just becoming available for the lightweight models.

I've got my late 99 brochure in front of me (just pre lightweight) at it states the following:

Front 7.5x16" Alloys fitted with Bridgestone SO2 - 225/45 ZR low profile tyres
Rear 7.5x16" Alloys fitted with Bridgestone SO2 - 245/45 ZR low profile tyres

Front and Rear 7.5x16" Alloys fitted with Bridgestone SO2 - 225/50 ZR low profile tyres

4.5
Front 8x17" Alloys fitted with Bridgestone SO2 - 235/40 ZR low profile tyres
Rear 8x17" Alloys fitted with Bridgestone SO2 - 255/40 ZR low profile tyres

W00T! I printed off some stuff from the last cerb page and Silverstone Performances page - highlighed a few things and now I have free Michelins. Good job as they're over £200 each.

Family perk. My old man worked for them for over 40 years before his eventual retirement.

They're not *entirely* free as I had to pay the write of value for the set on his MPV (about £89 all in I think). The last set I had on the old VW cost about £3 in writeoff value when I sold it 18months ago . They become free after 2 years, or when they're entirely buggered (if before two years) though. But then you have to send the carcasses back to prove that they're knackered. Oddly enough though, the 255/35/ZR18's are readily available but the 225/35/ZR18's for the front are on back order. Odd that a far more 'rare' tyre is so readily available but the more common ones are not.

It's interesting that TVR published that the 255/40 17 is an OE tyre on an 8 inch wide rim as that tyre size does not comply with ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) specifications. Neither does a 225/35 18 on an 8.5 inch rim.
