I cant help with a local garage to you but, if you are looking to get the geometry set up its best to get a shop that uses laser alignment as its more accurate.

Also i'd advise whoever you choose to do the job is familiar with TVRs so if their is a problem with the chassis its picked up on.

1 degree neg on the front works best for me, its worth playing around with a few settings and seeing how the car works best.

Mine cost £100 a year ago to have done so you should be looking for around that price.

I had mine done in Swindon, great job £55. Thamesdown tyres i think, i can check if interested. They knew TVRs inside out and judging by the pics in the waiting room, many nice cars.

Same question as Mongoose, but in the Essex area.

Any recommendations?

Mcfadden,
I think Elite in Rainham have a laser set up rig I'm going to give them a go soon so might be worth a call.

guilty! that was me, said to the wife I'd be 5 minutes getting petrol & returned about 55 minutes later, after having a run out for the hell of it!

I blame you. I saw ( & heard ) your 500 burbling its way through Billericay High St on Saturday & I was itching all day to get out for a run in mine.

Nice Wheels, by the way!

Wouldn't mind having a look at it sometime.

PS - Don't keep your car so clean, you put mine to shame!

PPS - It made me glad to own a griff seeing & hearing yours.

Much more exclusive than a Boxster.

I used Brockfords in Needham Market (as used by Kerridges TVR). They actually managed to improve the geometry, which is quite amazing as Offord said they'd done it....
