Work is moving, and so am I (for 12 months).
I won't have any space to store the car, so need to find somewhere with secure storage.
I'd like the storage to be ideally in the north side of Brum, but not really too fussed, just somewhere near with a B postcode would do.

Anyone got any ideas, or (better still) contacts......?

I can recommend these guys in Aldridge who have CCTV coverage and lighting:

www.ucanstoreit.co.uk/

Very helpful and you can get 24 hour access if you want just by leaving a deposit. They have fitted out some containers with hard floors and supply a silicon tray (or two!) to counteract moisture. The guys have even made ramps for ease of access and let me have a spare set for the duration of my cars stay. Very flexible on lease time too.

Can't thank them enough. thumbup

Paul,
Are you looking for garaging - looking at your profile I would say yes. We are moving to a property in a very nice part of Redditch (yes, there are some) with lots of parking space, off an unadopted road.

Thanks for all the input folks, but the cars wll probably be going into the facilities at: www.midlandcarstorage.co.uk . It's the "serviced" angle & dehumidifier that appeals, and they're only 30 minutes away from work, ideal for a Friday pick-up & Monday drop-off. £12 per week, plus hourly charges for any routine maintenance (negotiated already in advance), seems like a bargain to me.

Its a road that the local authority have no duty to maintain and as far as i'm aware the residentsd fronting it maintain it (although the solicitor is on the case here). Often referred to as a private road.

£12 per week sound like a good deal. Take it that's per car? I take it you have seen where Pershore is? It is defo more than 30 minutes away and definately on a Friday night. Where in north Brum will you be?

FFG- yes indeed, if booked & paid for 12 month term, the usual price drops from £15 to £12 per car.
Sold the race car (must update profile), and selling the audi, and having just bought a bike, hoping that the journey from Clent Hills or Solihull (work) to Pershore will take no more than 45 minutes. Still considering moving to the Shirley/ Dickens Heath area though, closer to work.......
