Problem no. 1 - Locking

The first of two I'm afraid.

The Griff indicates that it has locked as normal (4 flashes of indicators and the clunk sound of car locks) but the driver's side door still opens. The passenger door locks as normal.

Both doors are shut properly - I know this can cause dramas. The only thing that I have been doing differently recently is leaving the car unlocked as I now have a garage that I lock it up in.

Any ideas what this could be/ how to sort it out? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a problem with the locking solenoid, not sure how they're set up on the Griff but here's some info on how I replaced the one on my Chim. Could just be a loose connection.

The bolt which connects the solenoid to the lock actuator can shear, giving these symptoms. Remove carpet behind the B pillar and have a look. Another TVR design classic I'm afraid.
