Steve, it makes a great deal of improvements to the chassis. The car Pre Roll Bar feels skittish when on the limit... the roll bar really does stiffen it up no end. The car feels more responsive .. its funny, whith the harnesses too, you really do feel secure and "at one with the car"

When I had mine done back in the mists of time, it stopped the centre of the car flexing when pushing hard so that the front and rear wheels actually followed round. The full cage is even better and dramatically stiffens the chassis. Makes getting in and out over the side impact bar tricky though.
The Tower design also strenghthens the rear shock mounts which means I can run harder springs without causing the chassis to distort. This is a bit of a problem on the Wedges when you start pushing the envelope a bit.

I think I saw your car there on Saturday - Dark blue 400 with Peninsula logo? I was down to collect my Griff (pearlecent yellow) after a service.
Great weather to drive the 2 hours home in eh?
Marco
Ahh yes, that was us .. with the roll bar .. chatting to Colin about the next evolution of the bar and a few additional mods.

I was thinking the same thing (about holes that is) then i think about the saftey issue and improved handling and after all its only a lump of plastic,

On the subject of holes or a flat head.
There was a question about this a while ago. I mentioned that I had seen a photo of a Wedge upside down and supported by the boot on the armco on a track day. Steve Heath then posted a link to a Griff, very flat upside down.
Roll bar, its on my list as soon as the horse comes in.
