£850,000 for a Model
Discussion
I've never dealt with this guy, but have read all the comments here and this would seem to reinforce them once again.
850k EUROS would still be overpriced given Enzo supply and demand at the moment. Sure I've mentioned this before here, but I was offered one by an indie for £525k recently. This dealer owned the car so presume they paid 475 for it and sure they would take 500.
Guess it only takes one sucker with money.....

I actually live in the city where this characters new "showrooms" are located (next door to a proposed "human waste" sludge processing plant according to the papers.
Since its available for viewing im SOOOOO looking forward to going and seeing it.
Now if i could only fit through the 1:18 scale showroom doors, and find some space in the 1:18 scale car park.
but then do you think he will accept my 1:18 scale cheque or will 850,000 in monopoly notes do?
Still at least my old toy garage will be able to service it, and parking shouldnt be a problem. when you arrive just put the bugger in your carrier bag and take it round the shops with you!

It is a nice model though
Any idea who makes it?

At first thought, I would have said Bburago, but I dont think they do an Enzo. So I would guess Hot Wheels.
Probably a Tamiya 1:10 scale display model. I have one at home, It was in model shops for £500. Bought it for £210 on the internet though.

I thought it looked far too small for a 1:10. Compared to the dirt marks on the ground. I'm prepared to be wrong though.

The model is definitely not a Tamiya 1/12 as the tyre profile os too big.
Its a Kyosho 1/12.
This dude advertises some great cars but whether they are in his possession is another story. I went to a London Ferrari dealer today and asked whether they had any Diablos given they had a Murcie and a black Enzo etc. They said speak to the chap who is selling a model for £850000 as he sells lots of them. End of conversation!
