anybody? My OPC charged me 90 quid to say it was fine and it's not so I either get them to fix or get money back and do it myself if its cheap.

part is £300 from OPC and easy to fit yourself, it's a Bosch part so maybe worth checking the part number and trying German and Swedish or Bosch .

It's an air mass sensor and according to my warranty its covered so I will be calling them in morning to get a free one fitted and they can refund me 70 quid for testing it and saying it is fine. cheeky gits.

the cheeky gits charged me 70 quid to test it on their machine thats said it was ok, they can refund me that and give me a free sensor plus i want a courtesy car refund as it was 50 quid for day but they then said it will take 2 days and charged me 100 quid. I would have said no thanks if I knew that mad

scratchchin Of course the other option is to suggest they could keep their name intact if they were to fit the MAF and put you down in the books as 'Woogies next service comes free gratis'

Let us know how you get on ...

I think you'll struggle with an original MAF replaced under warranty, they'll have you under the 'wear and tear' clause.

Wear and tear on a sensor? Whats the warranty for exactly then? I am beggining to think its not worth renewing it.
