Can't speak for a Maser but on a Murcie the following applies..

Larini = well built, nice looking, good but not outstanding sound. Had problems with the company themselves tho. Do a lot in the States..

Quicksilver = probably the cheapest but I had the pagani style 4 pipe tips..good sound, and nice company to deal with

Tubi = In my opinion the best looking, best sounding and the best built. The only exhaust i would buy..the rest I was asked to try..

No idea on the Quicksilver exhaust but I had Tubi's on my Maser 4200 coupe and now have Larini. In my opinion:

Tubi's - LOUD(!), too loud if it's an everyday car as they generate a lot of resonance inside up to 3k revs and add a little to interior noise after that. TBH in my opinion these are GT cars, not supercars and therefore the Tubi is too loud. Generally sound awesome on the outside, if you like loud cars (assume you do as you are on PH!). Also very expensive.

Larini - about 60% of noise of the Tubi, good build quality and unlike Simon I have found them great to deal with. A little interior resonance around 3k but bearable. Exterior is muted relative to Tubis but still a nice burble and more subtle - suites the car (?).

Neither of the above give any notable increase in power, for this get a straight through centre X pipe from Larini and hey presto notably more mid range grunt, but no noise! Not tried the Larini X pipes and back boxes yet, will do soon.

Basically down to what you use the car for and how deep your wallet is... enjoy...

We have just fitted the new Larini's to a 3200GT and they without a doubt louder and better than tubi's and they are cheaper as well - what more could you want??????

take a look at www.scuderiasystems.com/M-Media.htm they usually have a couple of vids of 3200's wearing Tubi's toward he bottom of the page. that might be enough to convince you!

Can you give more details here, Tex? I looked on the Larini site for the centre pipe, but it only seemed to offer back boxes for the 3200GT.

TIA.

I based my response on my 4200, on checking the Larini website you are correct, there is no centre section for the 3200 - sorry for raising your hopes. As for noise my views also apply to the 4200, but the Tubi IS louder than the Larini on this car. I would be suprised if there were such a turn round on the 3200!

I had a TUBI on my 3200 and it was loud, deep and very “gurgly”, like a V8 Cigarette race boat!

Now on 3rd TUBI and would not buy anything else, as they appear to have the best vocals and seem to be the loudest, but if you are going down the road of getting a sports exhaust, then I assume you are no shrinking violet, so why do it by halves!

Speak to Manu at Scuderia Systems.
