Does the new robbing fat bastards tax hike effect me!? . i cant seem to find any new info on it . Mine is a 1999, from what i can see im still as normal(£175) . anyone els found out yet?

So long as your car dates from before March 2001, there doesn't seem to be a change.

I've just taxed my April 2006 Tuscan this morning online, and the cost was £180 for 12 months. Apparently there is some low-volume manufacturers exemtion which means that they won't fall into the G band, no mater when they were made, or what engine size they have. Another good reason to by a TVR

Putting the manifolds on before the engine goes in anyway....!!!!

Just had a look on the HM&Customs website and it looks definate....no change on cars registered before 2001, no change to small volume cars (current TVR range, so not sure if that will include late chims that were built towards the end of production).
